Microsoft WebClient is Discontinued. How to Keep Your System Running?

The Edit Any Document Protocol App (v2-v5) on Windows was relying on Microsoft WebClient Windows Service, that is discontinued and will be removed in future Windows updates. The new version is build on top of our User File System and Windows Cloud Filter API and does not rely on WebClient. It also does not utilize any Mini-redirector driver components or commands.

The new version implements many OneDrive features, such as offline mode, on-demand loading offline mode, on-demand loading and provides familiar Windows Explorer integration. See comparison of WebDAV Drive App and Edit Any Document Protocol App in this article
